While both approaches have their benefits, I believe that candid wedding photography is the perfect mix of portraits and posed photos while also embracing the real moments that happen during a wedding day.
Candid wedding photography is all about capturing the natural, unscripted moments that happen during a wedding day. Whether it's the groom's first look at his bride, the flower girl giggling during the ceremony, or the bride's mother wiping away tears during the toasts, candid wedding photography captures the real emotions and interactions that make a wedding day so special.
But candid wedding photography doesn't mean abandoning posed photos altogether. In fact, posed photos can still play an important role in capturing beautiful wedding moments. However, instead of stiff and forced poses, candid wedding photographers will guide their subjects into natural and comfortable poses that still capture the essence of the moment.
